Colorado is a popular winter and summer destination alike with countless adventure and outdoor activities, a rising food scene and exclusive mountain resorts. Our hotel of the month is located at the base of magical Beaver Creek Mountain right in the heart of Vail Valley. It’s about a 2 hour – and very scenic - drive from Denver or for a quicker option fly into Eagle Airport which is short 30 minutes from the hotel. The newly renovated Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa offers plenty of activities to help you relax and explore the nature of the mountains. As soon as you enter the lobby you will be stunned by grand floor to ceiling windows overlooking Beaver Creek Mountain. It does feel like your private, cozy mountain chalet living room when you snug up in plush sofas by the fireplace in the lobby. This is a perfect opportunity for your team to bond in a relaxed environment and will translate back into the workspace afterwards. The 232 rooms (210 of them are suites) are decorated in a clean, mountain – contemporary style and fully equipped with flat screen TV’s, complimentary wi-fi and iHome docking stations. The hotel has a 2,000 square foot event lawn overlooking the Eagle River which would be a perfect location for a welcome or farewell dinner. In the winter guests can enjoy their mouthwatering and locally sourced cuisine from the Riverside Ballroom that offers plenty of natural light for groups up to 250pax. After a day on the slopes or hiking trails your guests can relax in the hotel’s 25-meter heated lap pool and hot tub or visit the hotel’s award-winning spa. Our favorite feature of this hotel is their own ski valet on site. Put on your ski boots, pick up your skis from the valet and head directly from the resort onto the gondola up to Beaver Creek. When you come back from a long day on the mountain the resort welcomes you with live music in the lobby and hot chocolate.
A trip to the Westin Riverfront and Beaver Creek Mountain will provide plenty of opportunities to build authentic and lasting connections and motivate your team for the next year.
